CONSTRUCTION

All PAVE EDGE products are quickly and firmly bedded using 30cm nails which can be shipped with your order. The diagrams below show the dimensions and instructions for use of PAVE EDGE.

1. Cut to Length

• Sections come in 2.0m - 2.5m lengths
• Saw can be used for shorter
• Far quicker than with metal edging

2. Join Sections

• Join sections longer than 2..5m 
• Use circular connecting rods
• These are provided FREE
• Allows seamless transitions
• Strength is preserved

3. Fix in Place

• Line up edges using string line
• All PAVE EDGE needs is a hammer
• Requires 30cm masonary nails
• These can also be delivered
• Amount of nails specified here

4. Bed Area with Sand/Gravel Mix

• Take time to prepare a good base
• Use dense material including sand
• Run plate compacter over base
• Ensure that it is smooth

5. Lay Paving Stones

• Start from a permanent edge
• Place pavers gently
• Do NOT use a hammer 
• Use string line to keep pattern

6. Compact Paved Area

• Spread sand over paved area
• Sweep sand into joints
• Run over area with plate compacter
• Repeat 2-3 times
